More than a million people were affected by bed bugs in 2020 in Switzerland and France, and one household in 10 between 2017 and 2022. One in three Airbnb accommodations in New York is affected by bed bugs, as are most hostels and mountain refuges on long-distance trails. Entire buildings in Geneva, Paris, Marseille and other major cities are regularly affected.
Bed bugs have become a real scourge and a public health problem. When travelling to locations with a high turnover, e.g. hotels, Airbnb, B&Bs, country cottages, mountain refuges, campsites or spending time in healthcare facilities, public transport, libraries, or renting out your accommodation, you are highly likely to be affected by bed bugs. Faced with this upsurge in Switzerland, France and the rest of the world, and with no effective, natural products on the market to combat bed bugs, the Swiss laboratory Sereni-d® is committed to researching active plant ingredients and developing formulas that are healthy for your family and our environment. The laboratory uses over 15 plants and active plant substances to combat bedbugs and their annoyances.

Our history
It was after a bad experience in the bed bug-infested mountain refuges of the GR20 in Corsica, followed by an Airbnb rental in Montreal, Canada, and in an office in Geneva, that the idea gradually germinated. Realising that there weren’t any effective, natural preventive products or radical, rapid and healthy curative treatments to get rid of bed bugs when infestations occurred, and that this often triggered psychological distress in victims, Marine Falconnet decided in 2021 to fill this gap by developing a range of effective, long-lasting products to help both private individuals and professionals. The products have proved their maximum effectiveness, and today over 50,000 families are satisfied.
